2024 growth 'may not be as good as this year'

ECONOMIC growth in 2024 may fall below target despite government assumptions of a pickup from an expected 2023 slowdown, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Felipe Medalla said on Monday.

'I think when you look at all the factors, my view is that next year will not be as good as this year,' Medalla said at the sidelines of a BSP and International Monetary Fund (IMF) forum in Mactan, Cebu.
