Dominance, breakthrough, fitting farewell

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia: It's already past 5 p.m. in Phnom Penh and Team Philippines got itself a solitary gold medal on Saturday, May 13 in the 32nd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.

Another slow day, it appeared, for the Filipinos in their gold medal drive at the Games that will last until the 17th. The reporters covering these athletes have somehow called it a day — most of their stories are sent to Manila as the final layout of the papers gets going before printing.
