FOR the second season in a row, the UAAP women's volleyball tournament has a rookie Most Valuable Player.
Angel Canino of De La Salle University was hailed as the Season 85 MVP and Rookie of the Year after accumulating 89.375 statistical points (SP). She ranked third in scoring with 227 points, fourth in spiking with a 36.42 percent efficiency, fourth in reception with a 40.85 percent rate, seventh in service with 0.27 aces per set, and ninth in blocking with 0.44 kill blocks per frame.
