Tripartite council to address labor issues

LABOR Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma said the recently created tripartite advisory council (TAC) between the Department of Trade and Industry and Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) will address labor-related issues in the Philippines.

He added that the formation of the TAC is in response to granting freedom of association (FoA) to workers to join and form trade unions or organizations of their choosing, and exercise their right to assembly.
