THE national government's gross borrowings plunged by 59.7 percent to P237.6 billion in March from P589.88 billion a year earlier, data from the Bureau of the Treasury showed.
Domestic borrowings accounted for the bulk at P146.04 billion based on a Treasury cash operations report, significantly lower than the year-earlier P458.56 billion.
