Filipino-Japanese Rena Furukawa nails gold in SEAG judo

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia: Filipino-Japanese judoka Rena Furukawa notched a gold medal in the women's -57kg class of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games at the Chroy Changvar Convention Center on Sunday, May 14.

In a rematch of last year's finals, Furukawa defeated Myanmar's Chu Nat Noe Wai to retain her title.
