CHR welcomes de Lima's acquittal

THE Commission on Human Rights (CHR) welcomed the decision of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 204 to acquit Sen. Leila de Lima in one of the two remaining drug charges filed against her during the Duterte administration.

On Friday, de Lima and her former driver, Ronnie Dayan, were cleared of the charge of conspiracy to commit illegal drug trading, on the ground of reasonable doubt.
