BACOLOD CITY: Contrary to claims that the death of a labor leader of a local business process outsourcing (BPO) firm here was job-related, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said that the motive could have been robbery based on evidence gathered.

Renoir Baldovino, NBI Bacolod agent in charge, said Friday that the death of Alex Dolorosa "was not the work of hired killers or because he was red-tagged or a state-sponsored killing." "It is also not related to his work as paralegal or union work," he said.
