Insecticide 'poisons' 55 school kids

AN insecticide sprayed on coconut trees at the back of an elementary school at Mirab village, Upi town, Maguindanao province, was suspected to have poisoned around 55 school children on Wednesday, May 10.

Dr. Mohammad Ariff Baguindali, Maguindanao Integrated Provincial Health Office chief, said the elementary students complained of headache, dizziness, stomach ache and vomiting after inhaling the pesticide.
