THE Department of Science and Technology (DoST) Region 2 led by Dr. Virginia Bilgera in partnership with the National Academy of Science andTechnology- Philippines (NAST PHL) and the Outstanding Young Scientists, Inc. (OYSI) conducted a training-Workshop on Writing and Presenting Proposals for BuildingScience Culture (Module 1) under the Research Upgrading and Performance Evaluation (RUPE) Program on May 11.
The RUPE aims to make an impact in the field of research and development by creating an exchange of ideas from different experts and collaborations in the scientific community to upgrade the quality of research, scientific outputs, and publications. One of the goals of the activity is to harness the Research and Developments (R&D) capabilities, elevate the Science Culture, and answer the current concerns and needs of the province in Science and Technology.
