Marcos to Asean leaders: Support nano businesses

LABUAN BAJO, Indonesia: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. urged the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) to support nano businesses that could contribute to the region's economic growth and narrow the development gap.

In his intervention during the Asean Leaders' Interface with Representatives of the Asean-Business Advisory Council (Asean-BAC), Marcos said nano businesses are the various 'solopreneurs' and home-based businesses, such as makeup artists, vulcanizers, independent dispatch riders, vendors and repairers.
