DICT to probe GCash system glitch

THE Department of Information Communications and Technology (DICT) on Friday said it will conduct its own investigation into the recent snag experienced by electronic wallet GCash that purportedly resulted in unauthorized online transactions.

Secretary Ivan Uy said DICT's Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) would be investigating glitches within GCash's system following numerous complaints from users.
