ABAC is mandated to provide feedback from the private sector to boost Asean's efforts toward economic integration. In addition, it also identifies priority areas for Asean leaders to act upon. Asean is the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
Pascual vowed to ensure that the eight legacy projects of ABAC will be implemented. These projects are spread across five priorities ― digital transformation; sustainable development; health resilience; food security; and trade and investment facilitation.
