Valdez leads PH past Singapore in women's volleyball

Alyssa Valdez returned to action as the Philippine women's volleyball team advanced to the semifinal round after defeating Singapore, 25-17, 25-14, 25-13, on Thursday, May 11, in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Valdez, who didn't play in the first two games of the national team here, went on to deliver the match-clinching hit in the must-win game for the Philippines.
