Gilas Pilipinas head coach Chot Reyes said the Philippines will have to adjust quickly and adapt with the playing conditions as the Philippine men's basketball team tries to move forward following Thursday night's embarrassing 79-68 defeat to host Cambodia in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games.

With the sweltering heat affecting the team, particularly naturalized Filipino Justin Brownlee who was cramping up during the second half, the Filipinos played catch up after briefly taking a 6-5 lead early in the opening period.
