IT is almost a mantra now. Game 4 is the pivotal game in a seven-game series when one team is up 2-1. It makes a world of difference to be up 3-1 than to be locked in a 2-2 deadlock.

Side note: During the game coverage, there were discussions about "Big Shot Rob" Robert Horry. His buzzer beater in the 2002 Western Conference Finals forced the Lakers to go 2-2 rather than 3-1. Personally, this memory etched the importance of Game 4 in my mind.
