THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) en banc executed with finality on Wednesday, May 10, its ruling to disqualify Legazpi City Mayor Geraldine Barrameda-Rosal from her post which she had won during the May 9, 2022 elections.
Barrameda-Rosal had failed to secure a temporary restraining order (TRO) or a preliminary injunction from the Supreme Court within five days upon receipt of the Comelec en banc resolution and would thereby be removed from office.
