Gcash helps PNP, NBI arrest online scammer

DIGITAL services provider GCash helped the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and Philippine National Police (PNP) arrest a fake online seller making transactions on Facebook.

GCash on Thursday said it collaborated with the NBI's Cyber Response Unit and the PNP's Anti-Cybercrime Group in tracking down the fake seller who took the victim's money but did not deliver the purchased item.
