Part 2 – Successes and failure

THIS year is the 45th year and the anniversary last month, April, of the British Council Philippines — the UK cultural organization through which the UK shares its culture with us in the Philippines. This is how much we people in a global village inter-relate, each culture enriching our perspectives much as ours enriching theirs. Considering that in touching lives, their culture leaves their mark on us, such remembrances live and grow with us — leaving us heirlooms in education and culture whose value grows as we share these worldwide through our respective professions.
