DMCI Q1 net income plunges 32% to P7.6B

DIVERSIFIED engineering conglomerate DMCI Holdings Inc. saw its consolidated net income drop by 32 percent in the first three months of 2023 to P7.62 from P11.26 billion a year earlier.

The firm said the slump was largely due to a high base effect after it generated a best-ever quarterly profit in 2022.
