MMSU tapped for black garlic development

TO boost the garlic industry in the country, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) tapped the Ilocos Norte-based Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) and Takara Inc. to develop the black garlic industry in the country.

MMSU President Shirley Agrupis, JICA Philippines Chief Representative Sakamoto Takema and Takara President Takarada Kimio signed the minutes of the meeting (MoM) for the Sustainable Development Goals Business Verification Survey with the Private Sector for black garlic.
