MOSCOW: The head of the Russian mercenary group Wagner accused a Russian military unit of fleeing positions near the eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut and said the state was incapable of defending its country.
Yevgeny Prigozhin, whose influence has risen hugely in Moscow's war on Ukraine, has in recent days released a series of scathing videos attacking Russia's military leadership.
