MANUFACTURING slowed in both value and volume for a second straight month in March, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Tuesday.

The Value of Production Index (VaPI) expanded by 4.9 percent during the month, down from February's 9.0 percent and markedly slower than the year-earlier 370.3 percent.
