TUBA, Benguet: The Department of Agrarian Reform in the Cordillera Administrative Region (DAR CAR) and DAR Provincial Office Benguet turned over two vegetable greenhouses with solar-powered drip irrigation and fertigation system worth P1,500,000 to the Taloy Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative (Tafarmco) at Taloy Sur recently.

Tafarmco is one of the successful cooperatives in the region that have gained supply contract agreements with the private sector. It supports Kapangan farmers who supply Jollibee Foods Corp. with vegetables.
