2023 Mazda 6 wagon receives minor but meaningful updates

THE 2023 Mazda 6 wagon has been launched, albeit quietly, in the Philippines — but don't expect this update to be a major one. Already a 10-year-old vehicle at this point, the midsize passenger car doesn't come in sedan form for this model year. For this update, it comes with meaningful upgrades that keep this niche vehicle competitive in the dwindling midsize passenger car segment.

Aesthetically speaking, nothing has changed from its design ever since its 2019 facelift except for the addition of two new colors: Rhodium White (as shown in the cover photo) and Platinum Quartz. Rhodium White is the newest color in Mazda's 'Takuminuri' range that includes Soul Red Crystal, the new Artisan Red that debuted in the Mazda 6 20th Anniversary Edition, Platinum Quartz, Machine Gray, and Polymetal Gray. This pearlescent white shade first debuted in the Mazda CX-60, which is already coming to the Philippines this June.
