Can widowers be happy with lottery tickets?

IMAGINE winning $400 in a small-town lottery. Would you buy more tickets with the winnings? Or spend only a portion like $100 and keep the rest? Spending only a little amount of money is logical, at least for me. But what if you spend all $400 in the hope of increasing your chances of winning?

Let me park that question for a while. This week's news report tells us about Warren Buffett of Berkshire Hathaway gaining $35.5 billion from his first quarter stocks profit from Apple Inc. and other investments. Probably riding on this confidence, Buffet buys $4.4 billion more from other investments.
