Napolcom eyes charges vs 2 generals

THE National Police Commission (Napolcom) has recommended the acceptance of the courtesy resignation and the filing of administrative and criminal charges against four officers, two of them generals, for their alleged involvement in illegal drugs.

In a press briefing on Monday, Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin 'Benhur' Abalos Jr. said the recommendation was based on the findings of the 5-man advisory group tasked to filter the courtesy resignations of 953 senior police officers.
