WATCH: Lawmaker eyes house inquiry into US-PH defense guidelines
The Makabayan bloc is studying the possibility of filing a resolution to conduct an inquiry on the newly formed US and PH Bilateral Defense Guidelines. In his visit to Washington, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. deepened defense cooperation with the US in an effort to keep China at bay in the West Philippine Sea. Several lawmakers and groups have expressed deep concern about this move.
