Teves wants charges dropped

SUSPENDED Negros Oriental Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr. on Friday sought the dismissal of the illegal possession of firearms and explosives case filed against him and his two sons by the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG).

Aside from Teves, his two sons — Kurt Matthew and Axel — are also facing criminal complaints for violating Republic Act 10591, otherwise known as the 'Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act,' and RA 9516 or the 'Law on Explosives.'
