Marcos bags $1.3B in investment pledges

WASHINGTON: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is bringing home at least $1.3 billion worth of investment pledges from his five-day official working visit here.

In a post-visit briefing, the President said the pledges were the result of his engagements with American businesses, several of which are already operating in the Philippines and are looking to expand operations.
