DENR, shipping lines partner for better disaster prevention

THE Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) will partner with local shipping lines to prevent another oil spill.

Environment Secretary Antonia Loyzaga said in a statement on Friday that she had met with shipowners last week to address the gaps to prevent oil spills in the country.
