PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr. said on Friday that he will see to it that under his leadership, the three-minute response time (3MRT) will become the norm among police personnel as part of his crime prevention and solution strategies.

In his speech during his command visit at the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) headquarters in Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City, Acorda cited as an example the Quezon City Police District's (QCPD) Integrated Command Control Center that is effectively carrying out the 3MRT.
