(UPDATE) INFLATION slowed for a third straight month in April as food and non-alcoholic beverage prices fell, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Friday.
The 6.6-percent result, which fell within the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas' (BSP) forecast range of 6.3 to 7.1 percent for the month, was lower than March's 7.6 percent and the 7.0-percent median in a Manila Times poll of economists.
