THE US government, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAid) and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (Koica) signed a P111.5-million ($2 million) grant partnership to improve the climate resilience of Philippines cities.
The US Embassy in Manila said the partnership was aimed at boosting the capacities of the cities of Batangas, Borongan, Cotabato, Iloilo, Legazpi and Zamboanga to adapt to, mitigate and manage the impacts of climate change and natural disasters.
