CHARIZE Joy Casano, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine student from Cavite State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Studies (CvSU-CVMBS) received recently a World Veterinary Association (WVA) Veterinary Student Scholarship Program grant amounting to US$2,500, in recognition of her academic achievements, which will aid in the development of her academic and future veterinary career.

Out of more than 500 student-applicants from 47 different countries, Casano is one of the 80 applicants who were granted the scholarship and the sole grantee from the Philippines.
