US, South Korea offer $2-M grant to aid 6 PH cities cope with climate change

THE United States (US) and South Korea have entered into a partnership to provide a P111.5 million or $2 million grant to six cities in the Philippines to help them cope with the effects of climate change and natural disasters.

The US Agency for International Development (USAid) and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (Koica) on March 22 signed the grant partnership agreement to boost the capacities of Philippine cities to manage the impacts of climate change.
