LEGAZPI, Albay: The Hanseatic Nature cruise ship carrying 180 passengers and a crew of 167 docked at the city seaport on Sunday, April 30. Herbie Aguas, DoT regional director, said that the foreign tourists will visit notable tourist destinations in Legazpi, Daraga and Camalig. The areas to be visited were Quituinan Lake in Camalig, Cagsawa Church in Daraga, and various landmarks in Legazpi City. After the visit to Legazpi, the ship will go to Calaguas Island in Camarines Norte. The Hanseatic Nature Cruise Ship owned by the German cruise line Hapag-Lloyd Cruises was built in 2019 and has a capacity of 230 passengers. After anchoring in Calaguas Island, the ship will also be heading to Camiguin Island and will proceed to Taiwan, Japan, and then South Korea. Aguas said next year, another cruise ship will be visiting Bicol, specifically in the island province of Masbate.
