THE Philippines has the potential to be the gateway of economic opportunities in Southeast Asia, the head of the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BritCham) told The Manila Times.

In an exclusive phone interview with BritCham Chairman Chris Nelson on April 29, he drew this conclusion based on the country's population and its ratification of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
