FILIPINO workers, particularly those in the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that comprise the majority of local companies, can continue to expect government support in terms of basic necessities and jobs, a Cabinet official claimed on Monday.
In a statement released to mark Labor Day, Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual said the Marcos administration was committed to providing incentives such as affordable housing and goods and improved working conditions for workers in both large and small firms.
