PHLPost to issue Tarlac 150th anniversary stamps

THE Philippine Postal Corp. (PHLPost) will issue commemorative stamps to highlight the 150th founding anniversary of the province of Tarlac.

PHLPost Postmaster General Luis Carlos and Tarlac Gov. Susan Yap signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) to feature Tarlac's rich, historical and cultural heritage.

The MoA was signed at the Tarlac Provincial Capitol with Postal Area Director Merma Lea Abalos of PHLPost Northwest Luzon and Tarlac Vice Governor Carlito David. Also present at the signing were Tarlac Tourism Head Arsenio Lugay 2nd and PHLPost Project Coordinator Joy Cacho. CONTRIBUTED PHOTO
