P249-M LTO budget for plastic cards hit

DEPUTY Speaker Ralph Recto said the cost of procuring plastic cards for drivers licenses can easily be covered by what the Land Transportation Office (LTO) earns for three-and-a-half days.

In his Facebook post on Saturday, the veteran legislator from Batangas said the LTO needs P249 million to buy 5.2 million plastic cards.
