(UPDATE) INFLATION could moderate further in April due to lower food, fuel and electricity prices, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said on Friday.

Following a significant decline in March to 7.6 percent from February's 8.6 percent, the central bank said consumer price growth was likely to decelerate to a range of 6.3 to 7.1 percent this month.
