SEC drives sustainability reporting

COMPLIANCE with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations on sustainability is driving the reporting of Philippine companies in this area, according to recent studies from global organizations.

First, the 2022 sustainability study of global accounting firm KPMG names the SEC 2019 memorandum circular as one major factor in the rise in Philippine sustainability reporting.
