(UPDATE) THE Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has launched a marine casualty investigation of the grounding of a Chinese-flagged bulk carrier that ran aground 2.7 nautical miles off Eastern Samar on April 18.
The PCG on Thursday said it is now waiting for the arrival of a team from Singapore that will conduct salvage operations.
