THE Department of Health (DoH) in partnership with the World Health Organization and the United Nations' Children's Fund (Unicef) will launch a nationwide supplemental immunization campaign titled 'Chikiting Ligtas 2023: Join the Big Catch Up, Magpabakuna para sa Healthy Pilipinas' from May 1 to 31.
The initiative is a response to the result of a Unicef study that revealed a 25 percent decline in the importance given to children vaccination by Filipinos, which is one of the most notable among the 55 countries covered by the research.
