I used to be an overseas worker, but the pandemic has forced me to return to the Philippines. When I was looking for a job, I came across a job vacancy advertisement which required, among other things, the applicant's resume, transcript of records, and Covid-19 vaccination card. Is it lawful to require an applicant to have such a card? I thought Covid-19 vaccination was not a requirement for employment. Also, I heard in the news recently that there might be another rollout of Covid-19 vaccines. Will private employees be required to get vaccinated? My brother, who is a private employee, is also unvaccinated. But there are rumors in their workplace that employees who get booster shots can be excused from work. Is there a policy on that?
