Alert levels no longer needed – Concepcion

THERE is no need to implement alert levels as the country is no longer under a state of public health emergency, Go Negosyo founder Jose Maria 'Joey' Concepcion 3rd said on Wednesday after the Philippines detected its first case of Omicron subvariant XBB.1.16, known as 'Arcturus.'

Concepcion, who led private sector efforts to secure vaccines for the Philippines at the height of the pandemic, said that alert levels were no longer necessary now that Filipinos have learned to live with Covid-19.
