Globe: 554 sites blocked in Q1

GLOBE Telecom Inc. on Wednesday said the number of blocked online gambling, smishing and phishing sites rose by 41.3 percent in the first quarter.

In a statement, the firm said it was able to stop access via its network to 554 sites during the January and March period, up from 392 last year.
