SC orders BARMM to recognize treasurer

THE Supreme Court has ordered the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) to recognize the provincial treasurer-designate of the newly created province of Maguindanao del Norte.

The Court's Second Division, led by Senior Associate Justice Marvic Mario Victor Leonen, granted the petition for writ of preliminary mandatory injunction filed by the provincial government of Maguindanao del Norte, represented by then-acting governor Bai Fatima Ainee Limbona Sinsuat.
