MWSS wants LGUs to ban inflatable pools

THE Manila Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) prodded local government units (LGUs) to issue ordinances that will temporarily ban the use of inflatable pools and car-washing, saying these consume a lot of water.

'The amount of water being consumed by these practices is huge,' Jose Dorado Jr., deputy administrator for engineering and technical operations group of the MWSS, said in an interview with the government television station.
